This week the dormer was rendered and the en suite basin was installed, along with the granite top for the glassy vanity unit. I sourced the worktop myself, as the builders put in a rather dull grey bit of laminate. I got the granite as a remnant from a local stone mason for £120 – he used the laminate worktop as a template.
